I'll allow therapy if cancer is back | The Sun |News

A MUM fighting to block radiotherapy for her son has said she will let him have the treatment if his cancer has returned.

Sally Roberts has been battling in the High Court to stop seven-year-old Neon from having the therapy.

But after tests showed that the cancer may have returned, she admitted last night: ?I don?t think I will have a choice.?

Neon had a brain tumour removed six weeks ago. His mum fears radiotherapy could leave him with side-effects including lower IQ and stunted growth.

The 37-year-old, of Tiverton, Devon ? who last week went on the run to try to stop the treatment ? said of the latest scan: ?They did see something. We are hoping it?s scar tissue.?

Mr Justice Bodey delayed his court ruling on Saturday because of ?medical developments?.
