Hans Verhoosel and Amy Gallagher, of LuLin Teas, have just launched an exclusive range of 9 products in the World?s most prestigious department store, Harrods.
LuLin Teas specialises in hand-picked, artisan produced, whole leaf teas sourced directly from single estates.? As the name implies, they have a focus on Chinese teas, with LuLin meaning ?Green Forest? in Chinese.
?We work closely with the tea farmers and producers, visiting them regularly, sourcing the highest possible quality teas, and we look after every leaf from picking to pouring.?
The company caused a stir in the tea world in late 2011 with the launch of their innovative tea bag, Tea Cubed.? A new concept of teabag, designed specifically for whole leaf tea, and now four flavours of Tea Cubed are among the products exclusively available in Harrods.? The Tea Cubed varieties in Harrods are Jasmine Dragon Pearls, Keemun Breakfast, Puerh tea and their 2* Great Taste Award winning Fujian Oolong, together with four loose teas and the Blooming Tea Exploration Box.
Amy Gallagher commented ?I am delighted to be working with Harrods, they are the epitome of style, quality and luxury. Having only launched the LuLin brand in September 2011 it is a big step for a young brand to be recognised by such a prestigious institution?.
They will be working closely with Harrods, with regular tea tastings days in store, the first being on Friday 14th?December, as well as launching the products on the Harrods website next month.
They are also proud to have begun collaborations with The Cedar Court Grand 5* Hotel & Spa in York, and Zest Restaurant in Derby, winners of ?Best Restaurant? at the 2012 Derby Food & Drink Awards.
